Installing & Service

From start to finish, we will be in direct contact throughout the entire installation or service. No outside sales, permitting, or third party installers. To be perfectly honest, you'll probably hear from or see our owner, Joel Collins. We ensure you'll have active communication on the progress of your project, or should there be any unforeseen circumstances. We're here for you every step of the way!

Do you have financing?

We do not offer financing for any of our services, as we have found the solar finance institutions to be prohibitively costly and predatory. Any claims to have 0 or very low interest rate is only due to forcing a down payment of up to 40% of the system cost first, stacking your interest up front. We believe that it's in any client's best interest to talk to their own trusted accountant, bank, credit union, or loan company to find out what works best for them.
How much can I save going solar?

This is as personalized as the cost of the system, if not more. You pay an upfront cost to gain your energy independence. You will save money from lowering or completely taking away your monthly utility bill. You can receive tax credits, for now, from the federal government. What are you spending? What are you saving? What are you gaining? We will find this out together!
Will you install out of state?

We are only licensed and permitted to work in North Carolina, though we can certainly discuss any on-site consultant work you might require if you live out of state.
Can I just install the system myself, and use you as a consultant?

Depending on your state, county, and local AHJ, you can certainly install a system yourself, and we will be happy to discuss any scope of work you would like from us, and what consult fees would apply.
What will a solar system cost me?

All systems are completely customized, and by filling out our contact form, sending us an email, or giving us a call, we can guide you to finding the best possible energy system that suits your needs!
Will my solar system stay running if the grid fails?

Only off-grid or certain hybrid inverters, and systems with battery backup can keep running if the grid disconnects from your home for any reason. We will work with you to find out exactly how much backup you need, from just during daylight, or for multiple days.
Is there a warranty?

Each product will have its own manufacturer warranty in case of product malfunction. We will get you the most reliable products possible that fit your budget so you are completely satisfied with your system! We also provide a 10 year workmanship warranty that will cover any damage to your property or system failure due to poor installation.
